From burritos and tacos to nachos and quesadillas, every item on our menu is freshly-prepared.
The focus is on modern, superfood ingredients to bring new flavours to Mexican favourites. All
our food is made with fresh ingredients and individually customised with gluten free, dairy free,
vegetarian and vegan-friendly options.
Zambrero’s Plate 4 Plate initiative is Zambrero’s way of providing food to those in need. For
every burrito or bowl purchased at Zambrero, a meal is donated through distribution partner Rise
Against Hunger, which distributes food to those in the developing world. Since being formed in
2005 by Dr Sam Prince, millions of meals have been provided to those living in poverty around
the world through the Zambrero Plate 4 Plate initiative.
Zambrero New Zealand launched in late 2014 and now has 14 restaurants (6 Auckland, 4
Wellington, 2 Christchurch, Napier and Queenstown), with more to come in 2019-2020. If you
join the Zambrero New Zealand family, you will be supported by a franchisor team with extensive
experience in franchising, QSR operations, supply chain, finance, marketing, construction/fitouts,
commercial leasing and more. The franchisor team will guide you through the whole process of
your new restaurant opening and will provide a high level of ongoing support.
As a franchisee you will be entrepreneurial, driven to succeed, customer centric and not afraid to
roll up the sleeves and get your hands dirty when required. No food experience is required but
our aim is to set every franchisee up for success from the outset. This means the initial training is
